The rest of today was classes, which were long and hot, followed by my second guitar class. I'm liking it, but it is a bit frustrating not being able to play well automatically despite all my prior musical experience. I guess I'll have to practice in between all my non-homework.
Walking to guitar class this afternoon
Dinner tonight was hilarious. Maricarmen made huevos revueltos, which are the spanish equivalent of deviled eggs, except stuffed with tuna and mayonnaise and then with more mayonnaise dribbled over the top. Kim hates mayo so much that she can't even eat it, so at the table she started dropping her food in her napkin. There was more mayonnaise than egg or tuna, and in Kim's defense it was really disgusting. I didn't eat much either. Instead, we fell apart laughing to the point where tears were streaming down our faces, and Maricarmen just started at us. Yet another spanish food drama... after dinner we went upstairs and ate some secret cucumbers and crackers and nutella.
Now Sarah, Lily, and Yanet are over at our house watching Match Point with Kim and me in the basement next to our roman ruins. It's nice to have people over and enjoy tinto verano and relaxing together.
