SOS: jamón y champiñónes

Sending out a food SOS: tonight we had ham and mushrooms for dinner, and because I don't eat meat, Maricarmen just gave me a heaping pile of mushrooms. I hate mushrooms THIS MUCH. I attempted to eat them, but only made it (maybe) half way before I passed the plate subtly to Kim, who was psyched to get more. Then I ate some bread. And now I'm eating Nutella. Between the mushrooms and Nutella, my stomach is killing me. I miss my mom's cooking THIS MUCH.

But to rewind, today was a relatively normal, although my music class was cancelled because my professor had her appendix taken out of the weekend. I feel badly for her- I so vividly remember how painful that was! After lunch Amber and I ran errands around town and attempted to re-charge our Spanish cell phones with money, though that failed. We have to go ask again at another store tomorrow.

Monday also means Sevillanas class, which was a blast despite how tired I still am from this weekend. I feel every class I get a little bit more into it. If I didn't have blonde hair I'd feel really authentic, but I pretend to be a sexy Spanish dancer nonetheless.

The rest of tonight has just been homework and catching up on everything I didn't do while I was partying away in Lagos this weekend. I'm also trying to get a bit ahead on work because one my friends, Craighton, who was also on the Lagos trip with the Preshquitas, has the week off and is coming to Cordoba from Granada for a few days to hang out with us. Ok back to alternate work/secret room eating before I fall asleep on top of my computer. Adios.
