This time for AFRICA!

That's right: tomorrow morning I leave for five days in Morocco, for my first time on the African continent! I'm so excited; we're going to Tétouan, Tangiers, Asilah, and Chefchaouen. We're leaving from Córdoba on a bus at 6:45 am, and driving to Algeciras, the port in Gibraltar. From there we're getting on a ferry to Tangier, and while in Morocco we'll have our own bus. Not only will we be on the Mediterranean Sea and in the Straight of Gibraltar, but we'll also be on the Atlantic Ocean- trifecta! And in the mountains in Chefchaouen- trifecta plus one! Here's a rough map:

But to rewind... today I spent most of the morning packing, and then had photo, geography, and guitar classes. Also, Kim and I just booked a flight for a weekend in Milan for the beginning of December- I can't wait! She has the same type of "why not" attitude as me, so it makes it really easy to say "hey, let's do this!" For example, she was ready to start formal training on the spot when I mentioned I wanted to run the Córdoba half marathon. So great.

I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post updates while I'm in Morocco, but I will write every day and post when I find wifi and/or get back to Córdoba on Tuesday night. In the mean time, listen to some waka waka... This time for AFRICA! Hasta lunes!
