10 miles, 3 proyectos, 1 clase, 1 día

Another day of pure productivity here in Córdoba, but that's what its going to take to get ahead and through the end of the semester with sufficient play time for when my mom arrives in 36 hours.

The half marathon is 10 days away, so I thought I'd run the same distance. This morning I did a solid, though slightly slower, 10 mile run. I'm not sure why I felt slow, but I was dragging a bit. Nonetheless, it was a good run, and I feel prepared for the half marathon. My only goals are to enjoy the run, finish the race, and feel proud of what I accomplished.

After running and before 3:30 Photography, I crammed in more work on my photo project, which I just finished this evening. I also did an entire Music presentation and an entire Geography presentation for the coming two weeks. I hate having work hanging over my head, and literally feel a weight lifted off my shoulders once I get it done, so why not just do it? Besides, my Geography class today was cancelled, so I only had an hour and a half of class.

I'm also packed and ready to go for tomorrow afternoon. In the morning I'm going to a Friday market with Sarita and her compañera de conversación, and by the time I get back here for lunch I'll only have a hour before I have to be back out the door to the train. My train leaves around 4 and arrives in Madrid around 6, and I'm staying with my friend Ben, who I know from Kawanhee in Weld. We're also going to get together with a few of the other camp guys who are living in Madrid, which should be fun. I'm also glad I have something to do to pass the time tomorrow night, otherwise I'd sit around all night just waiting for it to be Saturday morning already :)

Time for you to get on that airplane, Mama! And listen to some Paper Airplane for me!
