Productividad

I suppose that sometimes it takes a rainy day to force more productivity out of me, and as it turns out, today was that day.

I woke up this morning and got myself together to go for a run, but just as I was walking out the door the sky opened up and it started to downpour- shoot. Luckily, Maricarmen and Carlos have a stationary bike in the basement, so I did a nice workout on there. I have to admit that it was probably good to not run after doing 13.1 yesterday, and cross-training is always beneficial, but I just love running. I don't think I could ever have the same high after finishing any other type of cardio workout.

It was a standard Monday, with Politics, lunch at home, and back to the facultad for Music. However, instead of coming back to Calle Postrera between Music and Sevillanas, I went to a specialty paper store and bought paper to mount my final photography project photos on. Unfortunately the paper store didn't do binding, so I then went to a photocopy store to have the pages bound together. And from there I went and had be series of photos printed. For now I'll just say that my topic was on the future and how I interpreted in relation to the built environment. I'll write more about it another time.

Post-Sevillanas and post-dinner, I worked on ordering and gluing the photos perfectly into the book. I still have to write the artist statement for the beginning page, do the cover, and caption and write a brief comment for each photo, but aside from that I'm pretty close to done. I already know what I want to say, so I think the most complex part will be making my handwriting look good. I bought a metallic silver pen to write on the black pages as incentive.

Tomorrow I plan on running (of course), finishing this photo project, working a bit more on my political presentation, and writing a small paper for music. Let's get through this week and make it Saturday already!
