12:00-24:00 horas

Thank goodness I'm in Cordoba for more than 48 consecutive hours. I didn't realize how badly I needed to sleep and relax here until I didn't wake up until noon today. The Cordoba half marathon is two weeks from today, so I did a nice 8 mile run this morning to keep my training on track. I also Skyped with my mom for a while, and we chose which trains we're going to take and bought tickets to the Alhambra for when we go to Granada the second weekend she's here. Aside from trip-planning, I've just been doing some advanced work for my classes in preparation for when she is here.

Lunch today was by far the best meal we've had here; Maricarmen made fried calamari and a big salad. I love calamari, but it tasted even more delicious after running so much. I must have needed the protein. Also, the lemon juice that we squeezed over the top of the calamari came from a lemon from the tree in the patio- very cool. Dinner tonight wasn't until 10:30, and we just finished now at 11:45. I'm so tired now I'm just going to head straight to bed. Noon to midnight- I'm done.
